Hello! My name is Rebecca Tripp and I am the Founder of The Immigration & Paralegal Law Office of Rebecca B. Tripp. I am duly licensed as a Paralegal by the Law Society of Ontario and by the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC) as a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC), located just north of Peterborough, Ontario.
Since becoming a paralegal, I have worked as an Immigration Case Worker in Toronto closely supporting immigration lawyers whose clients were located all over the world, and as the Lead of Legal for a start-up located in Peterborough, Ontario. I have also been a Director on the Board of a local non-profit, the New Canadian Centre, and currently a member of the Flex Legal Network.
As a Trent University, Fleming College and Humber College alumni, I noticed a significant gap in the market when it comes to the support of young adults navigating the legal system. From study permits, to lease agreements and employment contracts, the legalities of adulthood can be overwhelming. As a Licensed Paralegal and RCIC, my goal is to provide approachable and personalized support to those who seek it.
The second "branch" of my law office is legal outsourcing for fellow legal professionals and businesses. By working in a multi-national law firm and as the Lead of Legal for a start up, I noticed the demand for efficient support within law firms, especially during peak times of the year. In offering contracted support to law firms, in-house legal departments and other businesses, my hope is to provide peace of mind that the resources are there when they are needed.
